Sapling Press

April 8th, 2011

Not aware of any WI connection, but Pittsburgh’s Lisa Krowinski of the Sapling Press is one brilliant writer/designer. Here’s one of my favorites, but check out her etsy site to read all the cards.

Graphic USA

March 1st, 2011

I want to get my hands on this book: Graphic USA: An Alternative Guide to 25 US Cities”. It features both Milwaukee and Minneapolis (both places I’ve lived and loved) and features art from locals Mike Krol and Adam Turman.

1910 logo

January 12th, 2011

A logo I designed for a new condo building in downtown Milwaukee.

Modern Pop

January 6th, 2011

Just ordered these prints from Ryan Beshara of Modern Pop and can’t wait to get them! After the holidays, we decided to convert our office into a playroom and I think these will look great in there.

Holiday Cards

December 22nd, 2010

I just love sending and receiving actual printed holiday cards. These are my top two favorites that we’ve received via snail mail… apparently I like the multiple photo cards. (Tiny Prints & Shutterfly) I also like how everyone’s making holiday movies this year. Maybe I’ll start to upload our family videos and create something for next year. Happy Holidays!

Think Ink & Design

November 29th, 2010

I just sent my Holiday cards to the printer and can’t wait to get them back! For small invitation/greeting card jobs, I work with Dennis at Think Ink & Design in Madison. They do a great job (better than my home printer) and never make me feel like my small 100 run quantities are a pain.

Faith Lutheran Logo

November 21st, 2010

Logo design I created for Faith Lutheran church in Coon Rapids, MN.

Red House Stationery

November 19th, 2010

I’ve been keeping busy with freelance design work lately, so I thought I’d post a few of my recent projects. Here’s a logo and website design I did for Red House Stationery – a small company based in LaCrosse, WI that provides wedding invitations, place cards and programs for your special day.

Oktoberfest

September 21st, 2010

LaCrosse will ring in their annual Oktoberfest (a.k.a. DrunkFest) this Friday with the “Tapping of the Golden Keg”. If I were hosting a party, I’d send out these invitations from girl*in*gear.

Wedding Invitations

September 2nd, 2010

I love designing wedding invitations and I think the one I did for a wedding last weekend turned out great. Congrats Amy & Tony ~
