Named one of the 50 young guns for 2008 by the art directors club of New York City, Justin Thomas Kay has plenty to brag about. This Sconnie native now resides in Brooklyn and works with a range of clients based in editorial/print and apparel. Often collaborating with longtime friend, Steve Green, as Upnorth, these two are inspired by skateboarding, Black Sabbath and the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers. In addition to designing and publishing a number of magazines in the big apple, one by the name of oneonenine, Justin has spent this past semester back in Milwaukee teaching as an adjunct professor at MIAD.
